Dudali™: Le pouvoir de la simplicite feinte.

Mes sculptures My Dudali sculptures are spontaneous and colorful humanoids who candidly illustrate the simplest to the most intricate human interactions. Directly relying on the universal intuitiveness of Body Language Dudali transcends verbal communication. Meaningful and accessible, Dudali's language is as eloquent as speech thanks to an extremely precise assembly of the most mundane plumbing tubes and connectors that make him. Before undertaking a public project, listening to and understanding its future spectators insures that they will invariably interact with it and even reflect their own behavior upon it. Over the years Dudali has proven to be perfectly suited for public display as he has become a magnet to spectators of all ages who inevitably embrace him. My Dudali artwork is motivated by my curiosity to take on new conceptual challenges as I explore new places and new people and cultures. I believe that a genuine artist is one that continually reinvents his own uniqueness.

Bio

Béju a Franco-American artist born in Cognac, France in 1957 began his artist career at age 28. Quickly, his wood carvings spread in New York as he created artwork in residences on Long Island and Manhattan. His earliest works are a set of trompe l'œil wood carvings. After 24 years of carving many memorable pieces, Béju has been driven to rejuvenate his passion for sculpture based on the interaction of the abstract concepts of Conscience and Action. Today he concentrates his efforts on a series of sculptural creations involving a character he created called Dudali who through candid yet precise shapes and forms engages into the most eloquent body language performances.

Created and developed several private and public works of art throughout France. Designed and created costumes and sets for Opera de Lunes play performed in Loraine, France.

Project Manager. Produced and created high-end antique reproduction furniture, artwork and wood carvings.

Designed, created, and exhibited wooden sculptures and furniture throughout France. Directed various projects for creation of works of art, sculptures, cabinetry, and reproductions of historic furniture.

1996 Professional Wood Carver/Worker: Self-education sanctioned by the US Labor and Immigration Authorities as valid for the acquirement of a H1B1 Work Visa.
